In a gilded cage

This season's shoes by Dolce & Gabbana might actually prove that I have, in fact, died and gone to heaven.  Just when I think I can not possibly love fashion any more and nothing can possibly be new under the sun, some creative genius says: Poof! Birdcage shoes.  I can just imagine a tiny carnelian colored canary singing inside.... Très jolie, D&G.

Postmodern Pippa

My fav IT girl right now is Pippa Middleton.  I absolutely covet every single piece in her wardrobe.  Upon closer investigation I discovered a possible reason for this:  We share the same birthday!  I believe this explain why she and I both prefer bold monochrome outfits and opt for dresses over slacks....
